MANAGING A SMALL ORGANISATION
Managing Conflict in Organisations
Sarah Cruise, Eloquential
26th January, 6-8pm, Humanitarian Centre
Managing conflict between people or organisations can be a daunting task and is often considered to be a complex tactical process. This does not have to be the case. Managing conflict is all about managing people.
By understanding the human processes and behaviours involved within a conflict situation we can make management a whole lot more accessible. This session will highlight the processes, behaviours and skills needed to manage conflict effectively.
Gaining and Utilising Media Coverage
Charlotte Sankey (Communications Director, Kings)

Media coverage can really help your organisation grow and develop, but it can also be a huge waste of time and resources.
This session will outline the pros and cons of media coverage, and examine how best to target your efforts to achieve your goals.
It will give practical tips on how to reach media, including a writing workshop which will teach you how to write clear and effective press releases.
Finding FundingFor Projects
