NGO Membership

Become a member of The Humanitarian Centre to join a dynamic, engaged network of successful charities, international development professionals and like-minded individuals. We currently connect over 40 Cambridge-based NGOs, and many more academics, researchers, students, development consultants and private sector leaders. We exist to facilitate the sharing of dialogue, best practice, collaboration and innovation between organisations and different sectors, as well as offering a range of core services for our growing community.

Benefits of being a member include:

  • Members attend any chargeable events at a discounted rate
  • Members can make use of our Resource Centre.This includes use of meeting space, advice and support, as well as a range of equipment.
  • Equipment can be borrowed / used in the HC, and outside by agreement, including: data projector and laptop, photocopier, colour printing, recording equipment, laminator and pouches, flipchart and whiteboards, display boards and wine glasses for events.   • Members are able to participate in governance:Members can contact the Director, Trustees or the Members’ Representatives to make suggestions and give feedback.

*Please note: if an organisation joins after 1st May the membership fee for the first year will be halved.
